  • Talk, Talk, Talk.

    I was invited by Maria Sequeira Mendes to talk about my work at the II Ciclo Criação & Linguagem, a program that invites artists to discuss about their creating process.

  • This weekend I’ll be home.

    This weekend I’ll be part of the program “Estar em Casa” at S. Luiz theatre in Lisbon.
    A program curated by journalist Anabela Mota Ribeiro and artist André e. Teodósio, around the idea of “Home”, transforming the whole theatre into their home.

    Saturday, january 30th at 16h, you can watch my film “La Chambre Jaune“.
    Sunday, january 31st at 21h, you can see “Play, The Film“, the theatre play I co-created with Cão Solteiro.

  • Talking non-stop…

    During the month of November the TV channel TVCine2 shows 4 of my short films. The show is called “Curtas às Quartas” and each episode airs one short film and lots of conversation with the director, about his life, his work and about each film. This wednesday, the third episode with the film La Chambre Jaune.

  • 2013 rewind

    My year started in Strasbourg with the premiere of Don Quichotte ou l’Illusion Perdue by the ballet company of the Opera National du Rhin.

    Then Lisbon and Paris with another premiere, Teatro Praga’s The Tempest.

    In may I flew to Angola for the shooting of my next documentary No Trilho dos Naturalistas: Angola.

    In june I had a very special screening, in the Portuguese Cinematheque, of 5 films I directed in a room with the walls painted yellow: O Desterrado, Bonjour, Namban Japan, La Chambre Jaune and UFA…
