<3 My first book <3

This is my first book! SUPERNOVA is a text written by André e. Teodósio and me, for Teatro Praga’s performance: SUPERNOVA.

Now the text is published in publishing house Douda Correria, along with another text, SUPER GORILA by André e. Teodósio and José Maria Vieira Mendes. Both covers feature illustrations made by me.

These two books are going to be lauched in the art festival MANPOWER’14, in a moment commissioned by Teatro Praga, called “Bookake“

The Big Green Screen

Today I’ll be in Coimbra’s Botanical Garden, at 18h, with biologist António Carmo Gouveia, talking about plants in films.

O Grande Ecrã Verde (The Big Green Screen) is the name of our talk. We will be showing excerpts of films, like 1951’s Alice in Wonderland, where the flowers try to understand what kind of flower is Alice; or Douglas Sirk’s All That Heaven Allows, where Rock Hudson shows Jane Wyman the trees she has in her garden, like this Keolreuteria, The Golden Rain Tree.

Suspended in love.

SUSPENSION is a variation of the video: PLANO 8/ SHOT 8, without the audio commentary.

It will be shown on the event MANPOWER’14, a cultural event that will fill the commercial stores of Rua Poço dos Negros, in Lisbon, with exhibitions, performances and concerts. December 19th, from 19h till 24h.

First the play, now the film.

In February I presented the show DAY FOR NIGHT, with theatre company Cão Solteiro, where we turned the stage of Culturgest into a film set. In this performance the audience could see the shooting of the film: FIM DA FITA/ THE END OF THE REEL.
