My new short film is now online!
My new short, LAST PLACE EX AEQUO, is now online on YouTube and on the Europoly page (in english and german versions).
This film is part of a series of films about Europe after the crisis. Each film has some statistics as starting point. My film is about the Eurovision Song Contest and the fact that Portugal always looses.

This week I will finish Last Place.
Later this week my new short film Last Place Ex Aequo will be premiered online. This film is part of the project Europoly that created 10 films about Europe after the crisis. Each film as a particular statistic as starting point and unites people from the opposite sides of the statistic. In this case a director and a band, BISPO, from portugal, and an actress from Sweden, Nour El Refai.
The film will be available on the 4th of december, but for now you can read an interview I gave about the film HERE. -

Talking non-stop…
During the month of November the TV channel TVCine2 shows 4 of my short films. The show is called “Curtas às Quartas” and each episode airs one short film and lots of conversation with the director, about his life, his work and about each film. This wednesday, the third episode with the film La Chambre Jaune.

Trying to rewrite Eurovision history
This weekend I will be shooting my next short, Last Place Ex Aequo. Part of the project Europoly, it’s a short film based on a statistic that says that Portugal is one of the countries that has the worst scores in the Eurovision Song Contest history, and it teams me up with Nour El Refai, an actress from Sweden, the country that has the best scores in the competition.

To Be or Not To Be’yoncé
Two weeks ago at the opening of Teatro Praga‘s new home, Rua das Gaivotas,6, I did a 5 minute workshop on “How to make your selfie look like a Beyoncé video”. Before and after there were other 5 minute workshops about things as different as folding t-shirts, learning the art of flattering, learning how to disappear or how to make a painting without getting your self dirty. This is the place where everything can happen. -
