Macau is my City
António Gouveia and Alexandra Cook are going to be in Macau at the festival This is My City to talk about the documentary series No Trilho dos Naturalistas. My episode of the series, shot in Angola, is going to be screened at the talk. December 6th, at Casa Garden, 6pm.

I was invited by Maria Sequeira Mendes to talk about my work at the II Ciclo Criação & Linguagem, a program that invites artists to discuss about their creating process.
On May 11th, at Teatro Sá da Bandeira in Santarém, I will show three of my shorts: La Chambre Jaune, Ponto Morto and Fim da Fita.

The Big Green Screen

Today I’ll be in Coimbra’s Botanical Garden, at 18h, with biologist António Carmo Gouveia, talking about plants in films.
O Grande Ecrã Verde (The Big Green Screen) is the name of our talk. We will be showing excerpts of films, like 1951’s Alice in Wonderland, where the flowers try to understand what kind of flower is Alice; or Douglas Sirk’s All That Heaven Allows, where Rock Hudson shows Jane Wyman the trees she has in her garden, like this Keolreuteria, The Golden Rain Tree.
